We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Lead to oversee operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing daily activities, ensuring high standards of performance, and fostering a positive work environment. Duties
- Supervise and participate in mechanical site work, including lining installation, mechanical fitting and fabrication.
- Analyse performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with team members, providing guidance and support.
- Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership qualities that inspire and motivate staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Facilitate training sessions for new employees and ongoing development for existing staff.
- Maintain clear communication with upper management regarding site performance and challenges.
- Manage scheduling and resource allocation to optimise workflow.
Qualifications
- Site leadership & working experience in industrial/mechanical settings.
- Proven background in one or more: wear-resistant linings, mechanical fitting, or steel fabrication.
- Safety passport (ECITB or equivalent).
- First Aid trained.
- Strong understanding of health & safety and site best practices.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Clear communication and ability to lead by example.
- Initiative, adaptability, and good problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience in shutdowns, maintenance, or large site projects.
