We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Lead to oversee operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing daily activities, ensuring high standards of performance, and fostering a positive work environment. Duties

  • Supervise and participate in mechanical site work, including lining installation, mechanical fitting and fabrication.
  • Analyse performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, providing guidance and support.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership qualities that inspire and motivate staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new employees and ongoing development for existing staff.
  • Maintain clear communication with upper management regarding site performance and challenges.
  • Manage scheduling and resource allocation to optimise workflow.

Qualifications

  • Site leadership & working experience in industrial/mechanical settings.
  • Proven background in one or more: wear-resistant linings, mechanical fitting, or steel fabrication.
  • Safety passport (ECITB or equivalent).
  • First Aid trained.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and site best practices.
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
  • Clear communication and ability to lead by example.
  • Initiative, adaptability, and good problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience in shutdowns, maintenance, or large site projects.
