Pertemps are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a leading Steel Distributor based in Wednesbury. If you have excellent attention to detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in accuracy, we want to hear from you!
Key Duties:
- Picking steel products from inventory based on orders.
- Accurately packing products for dispatch, ensuring items are securely packaged.
- Labelling and preparing goods for delivery.
- Ensuring orders are correct and meet quality standards.
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management when required.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a picking and packing role is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 10:00 - 19:30, and Friday 09:30 - 19:00.
Hourly rate: £12.21 per hour.
