The Role: We are seeking a Contracts and Operations Manager to lead our expanding Reactive Maintenance department, which delivers a wide range of multi-trade services. This is a key leadership role, requiring a strong understanding of building fabric and experience managing diverse teams across various trades. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of our multi-trade engineers working throughout the South and Southeast of the UK. Our services range from plumbing and roofing to tiling and fire door installations, covering both minor repairs and large-scale projects. The role includes management of both planned maintenance and emergency reactive callouts. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised, hands-on professional to join a growing company and play a central role in its development. Salary negotiable DOE.
Responsibilities of the Contracts and Operations Manager:
- Overseeing the smooth running of our reactive multi-skilled teams and their day-to-day tasks
- Programming jobs including emergency call outs
- Liaising with clients and other team members
- Ordering materials
- Preparing RAMS and issuing permits
- Working on and understanding our bespoke management system
- Presenting toolbox talks and engineers meetings
- Invoicing jobs
- Liase via telephone call or face to face
- Complete site visits
- Providing ongoing support to the office team on a daily basis
