Supply chain processes:
- Assist the Materials Team to effectively organize and oversee the purchase, storage and stock control of all supplies and consumables.
- Receipt, verification and movement of deliveries, ensuring prompt and secure storage of supplies according to specific requirements (e.g., chilled storage), with the relevant department.
- Incoming/outgoing supplies distribution, both within the Laboratory and for 3rd Party requests.
- Liaison with the Warehouse regarding supplies and services, including the recording of stock movements on the relevant warehouse management systems (SMART and other).
- Delivery note / Purchase Order management, including booking in via Meditech and scanning.
- Assisting the teams with stock rotation.
- Liaison with the Supply Chain and Finance teams regarding Purchase Orders and other administrative matters concerning Materials and Supply Chain with invoice exceptions.
- Upkeep and updating of databases for pricing, descriptions & new item creation for reagents and consumables.
- Order querying and chasing up vendors and suppliers.
- Assist with stocktaking and cycle counting.
