The role:

As Quality Engineer, you’ll take a lead role in upholding the quality of our products and processes. Working closely with production, engineering, customers and suppliers, you’ll manage quality systems, conduct audits and investigations, and drive improvements that help us exceed customer expectations and maintain industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve internal and supplier quality systems
  • Conduct quality investigations and root cause analysis (8D, 5Y)
  • Compile and review Manufacturing Quality Plans (MQPs)
  • Inspect in-house and third-party supplied products to ensure compliance
  • Maintain formal quality documentation for lifetime traceability
  • Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and accuracy
  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and track corrective actions
  • Support testing of sinks and taps to ensure conformity to standards
  • Organise third-party inspections as required
  • Drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives

What we’re looking for:

Essential:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of ISO9001 & quality auditing
  • Professional certification such as CQE or CQA, Six Sigma
  • Background in engineering or manufacturing with an understanding of Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience with QA/QC procedures and British Standards
  • Knowledge of testing best practices, version-control procedures, and defect management processes
  • Analytical with a methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Clear communicator with excellent reporting and documentation skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Full UK driving license
