Due to continued growth, Spider is advertising for a Customer Service Assistant for our clients, located in the centre of Norwich, Norfolk at their branches in White Lion Street and St Stephens Street. They are looking for 2 part time Customer Service Assistants to work 16 hours per week.

About the role:
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be the first point of contact, helping to ensure a welcoming, efficient and supportive welcome. This is a varied role as it will involve a mix of front-of-house duties, admin tasks and proactive customer communication. Work closely with colleagues across the team to ensure a seamless, people-focused experience in a fast-paced environment. The successful Customer Service Assistant will be required to work 16 hours per week, (White Lion Street – 1 weekend day and 1 week day and St Stephens Street working on a Thursday and Saturday).
Key Duties include:
- Front-of-house duties: Greet and check in customers warmly, maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area, and ensure smooth patient flow through coordination with the clinical team.
- Appointment management: Book, confirm, and amend appointments and clinics, and follow up on overdue appointments (e.g., eye tests, glasses collections, contact lenses).
- Customer communication: Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails promptly and professionally to ensure excellent service and follow-through.
- Administrative support: Assist with general admin tasks such as processing post, filing, and maintaining accurate patient records on internal systems.
