Job Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and driven Quality Control Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the high standards that our customers expect. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hourly checks and inspections on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products.
  • Perform label checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor and record air temperatures throughout production processes.
  • Calibrate scales and probes to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Collect samples for laboratory analysis as needed.
  • Conduct equine testing.
  • Perform various low-level audits, such as black bag audits, with tasks subject to change based on business needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Basic HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) knowledge.
  • Basic PC skills.
  • Health & Safety Awareness.
  • Any additional relevant training would be advantageous.
