Job Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and driven Quality Control Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the high standards that our customers expect. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hourly checks and inspections on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products.
- Perform label checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and record air temperatures throughout production processes.
- Calibrate scales and probes to ensure accurate measurements.
- Collect samples for laboratory analysis as needed.
- Conduct equine testing.
- Perform various low-level audits, such as black bag audits, with tasks subject to change based on business needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Basic HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) knowledge.
- Basic PC skills.
- Health & Safety Awareness.
- Any additional relevant training would be advantageous.
