My client is in need of a qualified civil engineer graduate. Their Graduate Scheme will give you exposure across the company in a range of disciplines, working collaboratively to plan, design and deliver projects on a national basis. The scheme offers an accelerated pathway to success. As our client's new Civil Engineer Graduate, you’ll be supported and guided by experienced engineers and learn to be an expert in Civil Engineering. Working in collaboration with other disciplines to develop and detail appropriate solutions, you’ll adopt the principles of excellence in design based on the industry-leading approaches. You’ll be offered opportunities to gain the experience necessary to achieve chartered status in your chosen area such as site experience, commercial exposure and access to digital tools to improve the quality of engineering design. You’ll be educated to degree level in Civil and Structural Engineering related subjects and have a keen passion to pursue a career in Civil Engineering. Possessing strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills to complement your proficiency in IT packages, you’ll relish solving complex engineering challenges and be motivated to learn and develop new ways of thinking.

Following ongoing support and training, you will be involved in the following duties:

  • As our new Civil Engineer Graduate, you’ll be supported and guided by experienced engineers and learn to be an expert in Civil Engineering.
  • Working in collaboration with other disciplines to develop and detail appropriate solutions, you’ll adopt the principles of excellence in design based on the industry-leading approaches practised by the @one Alliance Delivery team.
  • You’ll be offered opportunities to gain the experience necessary to achieve chartered status in your chosen area such as site experience, commercial exposure and access to digital tools to improve the quality of engineering design.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop 3D models and solutions.
  • Maintain close links with other Engineers, Technical Managers and Operations.

About You:

  • Must hold a BSc (Hons) and/or MSc (Hons) in civil engineering.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and within budgets.
  • Sound IT skills. If you have used Revit, BIM, academically or commercially then great!
  • The ability to think methodically to problem solve and manage projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Some knowledge of relevant legislation.

  • Training to develop softer skills, such as working with colleagues and clients.
