Mechanical Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer New Mills 4 on 4 off 6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am £47,218 to £50,319 plus overtime Mechanical Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer The Candidate You will be an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias and the following skills, experience and attributes… ·      Time served Mechanical Maintenance Engineer ·      Must have experience of working within a manufacturing environment ·      Ideally you will have worked within a food or FMCG sector ·      Strong fault finding and diagnosis skills Mechanical Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer The Role You will work as part of a large engineering team and be responsible for the following duties… ·      Carry out both reactive and preventative maintenance on production machinery ·      Diagnose and repair mechanical faults ·      Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment ·      Maintain records of maintenance activities on the Shire CMMS ·      Work closely with the engineering team to improve OEE Please note to start at the top end of the salary range you will need extensive experience with Food Production or FMCG environments. For candidates without Food or FMCG you will start at the lower end and can advance to the top end once you are trained and familiar with the equipment.
