Product Design Configuration Engineer

Product Design Configuration Engineer Based at a global Manufacturer near Desford 24 month contract opportunity (4 week notice period) PAYE rate £22.20 (plus 35 days holiday pay per annum and pension contribution) OR an umbrella rate of £30.50 (holiday/ pension/ employer costs included) The opportunity: Are you an Engineer keen to work with a global manufacturer of Off Highway Machinery? Do you understand the design process and are up for the challenge of becoming a direct link from the Machines built in the factory to what is put out in to the field for Customers? If so, this is a unique opportunity to do just that! So if you have a solid understanding of the change control processes, knowledge of Teamcenter and (ideally) Creo 3D CAD system and a superb attention to detail we want to hear from you! In brief what you will do: * Review engineering change data and documentation to ensure compliance with change management policies * Communicate and coordinate changes with wider business functions * Prepare configuration documentation required to support product development * Support machine product groups in corporate engineering systems and process improvement projects. Working with very experienced Engineers, as a Product Configuration Engineer what skills will you gain from this opportunity? * You will build a strong foundation in configuration and change management. * You will develop expertise in PLM systems, CAD integration, and complex product architectures. * You will gain experience in a global manufacturing and engineering environment with opportunities to expand into design, systems, or product management roles in the future. * And you will have career progression within this very big Company on your CV!
