As an Enterprise Integrated Broadcast System (IBS) Theater Support Manager you will have the opportunity to directly assist your assigned DOD Theater Command in IBS usage and policy to ensure high availability and dissemination of actionable perishable intelligence and operational data to support global national security operations among multiple agencies, producers, and combatant commands.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical input to assigned DOD US Command leadership on IBS Enterprise systems health and status, available dissemination methods, and mitigation options when confronted with unexpected outages.
- Serve as assigned Theater Subject Matter Expert for IBS use and production.
- Draft and submit IBS new requirements for validation to enhance and support assigned Theater Command mission objectives.
- Act as assigned Theater Subject Matter Expert on IBS Enterprise system to include but not limited to: Common Interactive Broadcast (CIB), IBS Network Services, Down Link Monitoring Technical Assistance, and MIL-STD 6018 (Common Message Format).
- Manage content and dissemination of Near-Real-Time intelligence and operational data in support of operations within the assigned DOD Theater Area of Operations.
- Serve as a conduit between the assigned Theater Operations and Intelligence Directorates and the Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) community.
- Coordinate with other combatant commands and IBS Support Office to ensure assigned Theater Near Real Time (NRT) dissemination requirements are met.
- Interface with national and theater intelligence producers regarding dissemination requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Bachelors’ degree in technical or intelligence discipline +10 years’ experience working with information dissemination systems and policies
- Direct experience with IBS enterprise components to include Network Services (IBS-NS), Common Interactive Broadcast (CIB), Tactical Data Processors (TDP), and monitoring tools (GALE, TRS, DME, GCCS)
- Experience with multiple intelligence formats and systems
- Knowledge of assigned theater policies, organizational structures, and requirements as related to IBS
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
