RECfinancial is exclusively partnering with a Leicester based Charity in the appointment of a Financial Director to be based at its busy office. The role is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby and Coventry / Warwickshire.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Finance Director role will take charge of the accounting and financial activities of the charity. The role is hands-on and responsibilities will include:
- Monthly accounting and reporting
- Year end and statutory reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Long range planning
The role has a mix of working with the board of the charity to guide them in the smooth and efficient running, general accounting, working with the budget holders to drive efficiencies and delivering value for money, working closely with the operation teams on any new service provisions and being a sound board for the Chief Executive.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work with a charity who is doing great work in the community and is having a positive influence on society. They are keen to hire a candidate who has a mix of experience of both management and financial accounting and it is likely that you will be working in a Finance Director, Finance Manager or Financial Controller type role.
You will need to be qualified in either the CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification to be considered for the role. The Charity is vibrant and busy and would suit a candidate who wants to be seen in the organisation rather than just be the accounts function in an office.
The role offers hybrid working and could potentially be worked over four days rather than five. The salary range is between £60,000 and £70,000 per year plus benefits.
