Data Analyst – PowerBI Developer and MS Fabric Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a talented PowerBI Developer and MS Fabric Specialist to support the delivery of digital data management solutions and application delivery projects. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in shaping how technology supports business transformation across a diverse client portfolio.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in managing end-to-end project lifecycles—from early-stage consultancy and design through to implementation and handover—ensuring systems are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. This is a role where the candidate will be working with a range of clients, where they are building, enhancing and maintaining a wide array of new and existing solutions. Core29 seek a team player, where our hybrid model of three days in person in our office allows collaborations with colleagues and stakeholders. The individual will also have sufficient experience to undertake the role with autonomy on their projects.

• Define and manage project scope, objectives, and outcomes aligned with client goals.
• Support the development of project structures tailored to the complexity and context of each engagement.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues, including appropriate mitigation strategies and escalations.
• Provide clear, consistent, and insightful reporting on project progress and performance.
• Engage key stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout delivery.
• Support procurement and contractual obligations where necessary.
• Ensure project deliverables meet business and quality standards, while enabling smooth client ownership post-implementation.
• Collaborate with project teams with transparency, control, and cooperation at the core.
• Forecast resource needs and coordinate demand across project and business teams.

• Solid understanding of Power BI, DAX, Power Query and data modelling best practices.
• Solid understanding of Power BI security models.
• Demonstratable experience with Azure Data Lake, Synapse and MS Fabric.
• Minimum 4 years hands on experience delivering Power BI solutions working across all ecosystems, dataflows, dashboards, performance tuning.
• Proven experience supporting digital system or software application projects in complex environments.
• Strong grasp of project governance, stakeholder management, and risk control.
• Ability to translate client requirements into actionable plans and successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with industry-standard project management methodologies and tools.
