We are seeking a proactive and organised Events and Marketing Coordinator to join our client in Tamworth. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in both events management and marketing roles, with strong project management skills and a creative mindset. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of event logistics, managing merchandise, and supporting diverse marketing activities across both online and offline channels. As an Events and Marketing Coordinator, you will need to have/be:
- Experience in an events role
- Experience in a similar marketing role
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to work closely with all departments and third parties
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail with a creative approach
- Strong project management skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office, including Excel
- Diverse experience across online and offline marketing as well as in copy writing
- Marketing degree or CIM qualification

Role of Events and Marketing Coordinator:
- Plan and coordinate logistics for trade shows and exhibitions.
- Send invites to attending team members.
- Order and check event literature in advance.
- Ensure merchandise is available and ordered ahead of time.
- Raise and issue Purchase Orders as required.
- Maintain up-to-date event budgets.
- Update team calendars, schedules, and project management systems.
- Produce monthly personal activity reports including campaign outcomes and development insights.
- Support the planning and communication of advertising schedules and bookings.
- Manage event banner inventory via the project system: Check artwork is current and liaise with designers when updates are needed.
- Order banners from suppliers, ensuring appropriate POs are raised.
- Coordinate dispatch and return of banners, ensuring items are returned to stock.
- Distribute post-event staff surveys and include feedback and improvement actions in reports.
Merchandise:
- Oversee weekly stock checks and liaise with procurement for reorders.
- Brief new merchandise artwork to studio, ensuring brand compliance and required approvals.
- Prepare product data including codes and barcodes for procurement processing.
Marketing:
- Ensure all marketing content remains current.
- Support product launch uploads with assistance from the wider team.
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency in tone, message, and visual identity.
- Participate in departmental meetings covering online and offline marketing strategies.
- Contribute topic ideas for: YouTube, Podcasts, Social media, Other relevant channels.
- Support team members with marketing stock reports.
- Help monitor and manage the marketing inbox.
- Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns (B2B and B2C): Campaign idea development and execution, Budget planning.
- Support market and competitor research efforts.
- Carry out additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth business operations.
