Salary: Up to £60,000 or £70,000 (depending on experience) + Company Car

Here at 1st Step Solutions, we are supporting a nationally recognised M&E contractor who are currently recruiting either an Electrical Engineer or an Electrical Projects Manager to join their team based in Bristol.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing tasks and duties based on the needs of the business, including, but not limited to the following:

  • Taking the Project from the estimating team via a project hand over
  • Review of the scope, be actively involved in the production of presentation documents where required
  • Better buying of all packages, in line with company policy
  • Issuing technical submittals of all Equipment / Packages
  • Manage overall project delivery from inception to practical completion
  • Quality control
  • Sub-Contractor management
  • Procurement
  • Support cost ledger and be responsible for Project costs
  • Commissioning and handover
  • Produce and issue weekly project reports
  • Manage project progress and design meetings
  • Produce and Maintain project documentation
  • Conduct a post contract project review/Lessons Learned
  • Maintain Client Relationship throughout project
  • Cultivate and maintain safe working practices on site

Requirements:

  • SSSTS/SMSTS
  • Proven experience in project management within the Electrical building services.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in procurement, contract management, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
