The Role
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems across London. The role involves working independently on-site, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and ensuring client satisfaction with every visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, commissioning, and servicing of equipment at client sites for vehicle CCTV and Electrical systems
- Carry out routine maintenance and emergency repairs
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions
- Maintain detailed service records and complete job reports accurately
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety and regulatory standards
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional and effective communication
- Participate in on-call rotation or overtime as required
- Experience working on HGV/BUS/COACH systems is essential
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar field-based engineering or technical role
- Background in security systems, automotive services, or electrical maintenance
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and customer service skills
