Are you an experienced leader ready to make your mark in a fast-paced FMCG environment? We’re looking for an ambitious Operations Manager to take charge of a busy slaughter facility based at Six Hills, Melton Mowbray. As Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day site operations, working across production, engineering, technical, HR, and health & safety functions. You’ll work closely with senior management both on-site and at group level, playing a key role in upholding food safety standards and driving continuous improvement across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate operations across all departments to achieve site objectives and KPIs
- Report business performance against budgets and targets to senior leadership
- Lead, inspire and manage teams to maximise potential and performance
- Implement and develop systems to optimise operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a senior operations role—ideally in red meat, FMCG, or food production
- A confident, dynamic leader with excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure and drive performance in a fast-paced setting
- Third-level education or equivalent industry qualification
- Analytical thinking and a results-driven approach
