We are seeking a skilled Flexi Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, materials handling, and operating forklifts. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of goods and maintaining a well-organised workspace.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 06:00 - 15:30 or 13:30 - 23:00 (No Rotation)
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas.
- Safely transport goods throughout the warehouse while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain an organised warehouse environment by properly storing materials and keeping work areas clean.
- Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure operational efficiency.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a warehouse setting, particularly in shipping and receiving roles.
- Strong knowledge of materials handling practices and equipment operation.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently, with a focus on health and safety standards.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
