A great opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to join an established and successful food manufacturing organisation based in North Yorkshire. Reporting into the Head of Group Quality and Technical, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality on site. This is a permanent position offering competitive salary and excellent benefits.

As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring consistent product quality, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement throughout operations.
  • Ensuring the company is fully compliant and has everything in place for all external audits and any customer audits.
  • Managing and continuously improving the company’s quality management system (QMS).
  • Establishing and maintaining an internal audit schedule and ensuring all audits are completed in a timely manner.
  • Overseeing site compliance against the company SOPs.
  • Conducting regular site audits with effective action plans.
  • Continuously reviewing quality processes, procedures and capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar role ideally within a food manufacturing or agricultural/feed environment. Knowledge and experience of HACCP and an understanding of risk-based quality management systems is essential for this role. You should have a proven ability to drive quality standards by successfully driving standards. The role would suit someone who can initiate and drive change and improvement to deliver results.

This role offers a salary up to £46,000 depending on experience and great benefits, and the business is commutable from Thirsk, Northallerton, York, Pickering, Middlesbrough, and surrounding areas.
