Vida Education are looking to appoint a passionate and committed Maths Teacher for a long-term, full-time maternity cover starting in Preston 2025. Based at a well-regarded secondary school in Preston, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, you will take on full teaching responsibilities; delivering engaging and inspiring Maths lessons across the curriculum, while contributing to a supportive and collaborative department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development
  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student engagement

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
