Join to apply for the EHR Senior Designer/Analyst – Pharmacy, Cancer and Research role at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. An opportunity to join the UCLH Electronic Health Record (EHR) management team has arisen within the Pharmacy, Cancer Chemotherapy, and Clinical Trial team. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual with a keen interest and ideally experience in digital healthcare.

The successful candidate will focus on building and maintaining medications as well as supporting UCLH’s wider digital infrastructure. Our EHR - Epic - helps ensure better service delivery and treatment planning centered around patient needs. Our vision is to create a digitally enabled organization that supports efficient, effective patient care through user-friendly systems providing access to the right information at the right time. Digital Services is central to our transformation program.

For those not already Epic certified in Willow Inpatient, training and support to attain certification will be provided during a 6-month probation period. Candidates without Epic certification will start at band 7 and can progress to band 8a post-certification and probation.

The post involves overseeing design, configuration, build, and testing of pharmacy, chemotherapy, and clinical trial application modules. Working with EHR delivery managers, the role ensures integration with other application teams, supports project prioritization, and engages with clinicians and operational managers to optimize workflows and system performance. The work includes developing analysts, collaborating with training, technical, and management staff, and supporting system upgrades.
