Join Swansea Wood School, a residential treatment setting for adolescents specializing in trauma-informed care. This position offers an opportunity to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team, bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our students.

Swansea Wood provides 24-hour comprehensive care, including an on-site school, full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff. You will develop your nursing skills by educating and providing healthcare services to promote healthy choices that enhance our students’ physical and mental well-being. You will create a safe and therapeutic community by overseeing medication documentation, administration, and assessments to ensure optimal treatment for our students. You will help students discover what makes them feel competent and valued by working with them to develop awareness of their medical needs and making healthy choices around nutrition, hygiene, and exercise.

We offer a $2,000 bilingual bonus for new hires who speak a second language other than English. Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
  • Experience with adolescent populations preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required (transportation of students).
  • Availability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed.
  • Training in physical interventions and verbal de-escalation will be provided to ensure a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Background and driving record checks will be conducted.
