Are you a recent Science Graduate looking to gain experience working within Education? Are you an Experienced SEN TA, Science specialist, or do you have ambitions to teach? If you are, we have an OFSTED Rated 'Good' school in the London Borough of Haringey, looking to speak with enthusiastic and graduate SEN Teaching Assistants for opportunities working within their Science department, with SEND students. The school caters for, and works with, students between KS3 and KS5, with mixed learning levels and has a fantastic provision for SEN students.

The role will be a mixture of supporting students 1:1, as well as supporting small groups and general class support for the teacher. The school are specifically interested in graduates with a Science background, as well as strengths in Maths. This would be a perfect role for any aspiring teachers, Educational Psychologists or Behaviour Mentors, all are encouraged to apply.

Job Details:
  • Working with students of varied abilities, including supporting needs such as ASD, ADHD and SEMH.
  • Working across KS3- KS5.
  • September start, full-time, long-term role until July 2026 with an option for a permanent contract immediately.
  • £95.00 - £105.00 per day – PAYE/Umbrella options available.
Person Specification:
  • Recent Graduate in Science.
  • Ambitions to work in education would be perfect. Any aspiring Science teachers, Educational Psychologists or SENDCos are especially encouraged to apply.
  • Enthusiastic, Reliable and Empathetic.
  • Must be able to work well within a team of Teaching Assistants.
