The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase is tasked with accelerating the firm's data and analytics journey, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security, and leveraging it to promote decision-making. The CDAO harnesses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to support the firm's commercial goals, develop new products, and enhance risk management. The Strategy and Execution team defines and executes the vision and strategy. The Firmwide Chief Data Office (CDO) maximizes the value and impact of data globally, with teams focused on data strategy, impact optimization, privacy, governance, transformation, and talent.
As a Director of AI for Data within the Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO), you will lead and prioritize efforts to utilize AI for data governance and in support of key data strategy enablers. You will bring a product mindset to collaborating with engineers, applied AI scientists, and researchers to enable the Firmwide Data Strategy through AI capabilities that make data management at massive scale possible.
Job responsibilities:
- Design and develop solutions leveraging AI capabilities for data management challenges
- Lead prioritization of research areas supporting data management and governance
- Collaborate with our lines of business and corporate functions to identify co-development solutions focused on data management challenges
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Formal training or certification on data and AI/ML concepts and expert applied experience.
- Extensive experience as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or AI researcher
- Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
- Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience with formal methods, formal verification a plus
- Experience with knowledge graphs and graph theory a plus
