About the team:

Our B2B team designs the foundation of how organizations use Goodnotes at scale. We support collaboration across schools, universities, and businesses by building tools that make it easy to manage users, structure information, and unlock productivity across teams. The team is distributed across Europe and Asia and works with an asynchronous-first culture grounded in documentation and shared ownership. You are welcome to work remotely from anywhere, with at least four hours of overlap with your closest collaborators, or you can join us in our Hong Kong or London office. Time zone differences will not affect your work-life balance thanks to the async nature of our ways of working.

About the role:

We are hiring a B2B Product Designer to shape powerful and intuitive experiences for teams and organisations using Goodnotes. You will work across identity and access management, shared workspaces, and collaboration workflows to help us build best-in-class tools for institutional users. This is a highly collaborative and strategic role. You will partner closely with product, engineering, research, and go-to-market teams to design experiences that are clear, scalable, and aligned with business goals. You will also help define journeys that support product-led growth—such as onboarding, seat expansion, and team activation. This role focuses on setting the foundation for scalable and self-serve adoption in B2B.

This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:

  • Design end-to-end product experiences for organisational workflows including account creation, onboarding, access control, and team collaboration
  • Own the UX for key platform capabilities such as admin portals, license and subscription management, and user roles and permissions
  • Translate insights from institutional clients into elegant flows that address complex user needs and real business constraints
  • Design tools that scale across user types and organizational structures with clarity and precision
  • Shape onboarding and team setup flows that reduce friction and support scalable B2B adoption
  • Create high-quality artifacts such as journey maps, prototypes, interaction flows, and detailed specifications
  • Work closely with engineering to ensure the intent and polish of your design carry through to the final product
  • Contribute to our design system and design standards with a focus on scalable patterns for team-based use
  • Help grow the B2B design practice through mentorship and cross functional collaboration

You will thrive in this role if you have:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a product designer, including work on complex systems or enterprise tools
  • Experience designing tools for teams or organisations such as dashboards, permissions systems, admin portals, or shared spaces
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong interaction design, systems thinking, and a clear visual hierarchy
  • Experience working across the full product development lifecycle from discovery to delivery
  • Ability to balance multiple stakeholders and constraints with a clear point of view
  • Comfort with ambiguity and an eagerness to take ownership of your area
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to tell a compelling story about your work
  • A high standard for craft and usability
  • A mindset that balances quality with learning; comfortable prototyping early ideas, embracing feedback, and iterating quickly to discover what works

What else would help you, but is not required:

  • Experience with SaaS platforms, workplace collaboration tools, or team productivity software
  • Familiarity with account management, compliance, or enterprise-level access systems
  • Exposure to design system thinking in multi-role or multi-tenant environments
  • Experience in growth optimisation; understanding drop offs, bottlenecks, and closing gaps to reach performance goals.
  • Ability to use data to identify and prioritise small, high impact improvements to make the experience more seamless
  • Experience mentoring designers or contributing to team rituals and capability building

Even if you do not meet every requirement listed, we would love to hear from you. We value curiosity, ownership, and the ability to learn quickly.

The interview process:

  • An introductory call with someone from our talent acquisition team. They want to hear more about your background, what you are looking for, and why you’d like to join Goodnotes
  • A one hour call with our Head of Design. You’ll be expected to walk through your portfolio and give an overview of your experience as a designer during this call.
  • A one hour portfolio review with our team and a product or engineering partner
  • A 45 minute call with our B2B Product Lead.
  • A 1.5 hour whiteboard session with our design team where we co-ideate and see how we can work together.

What’s in it for you:

  • Meaningful equity in a profitable tech-startup.
  • Budget for things like noise cancelling headphones, setting up your home office, personal development, professional training, and health & wellness.
  • Sponsored visits to our Hong Kong or London office every 2 years.
  • Company wide annual offsite.
  • Flexible working hours and location.
  • Medical insurance for you and your dependents.

Note: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks, including verification of employment, education, and criminal records.
