Say hello to the ecommerce OS. Swap is a leading software provider dedicated to empowering e-commerce brands with innovative, data-driven solutions. Our cutting-edge platform helps online retailers optimise their operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive growth. We are committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment where creativity and innovation thrive.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Group Product Lead to drive our Data, AI & Analytics strategy — a senior product leader who can operate at altitude while getting into the weeds with engineers and analysts. In this role, you'll own the overarching strategy across our data product pillars (Data Analytics, AI/ML, and Data Platform), while directly leading our Data Analytics team — the crew behind the insights and dashboards that power decision-making for our merchants and internal teams.

You’ll work cross-functionally across engineering, data science, product, and GTM teams to deliver merchant experiences that set the bar for the industry — and build the internal tooling that empowers every team to move faster, smarter, and with confidence.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Ownership: Define and drive the product vision for Data, AI, and Analytics across our platform, aligning with company-wide objectives. Build a unified data strategy that scales across both customer-facing features and internal intelligence tools.
  • Hands-On Leadership of the Data Analytics Team: Directly manage the Data Analytics team delivering insights, dashboards, and data products that support merchants and internal stakeholders. Prioritise and ship high-impact features that help merchants make smarter decisions — from demand prediction to revenue performance tracking.
  • Cross-Team Enablement: Act as a key partner to other product teams, customer success, operations, and GTM — delivering tailored analytics and decision-support tools. Create scalable frameworks for how internal teams request, consume, and act on data — minimising one-off asks and driving strategic focus.
  • Accelerate AI Capabilities: Collaborate with our AI/ML team to embed intelligence into workflows — think forecasting, anomaly detection, pricing insights, and behaviour modelling. Ensure AI is applied with purpose, and explainability is baked into every feature.
  • Technical Collaboration: Partner with Data Engineering on schema design, pipeline improvements, and BI tooling investments (e.g., dbt, BigQuery, Looker, Metabase). Translate complex data needs into intuitive product experiences — surfacing what matters most, when it matters.
  • Lead the Market in Merchant Experience: Design data experiences that don’t just report the news — they drive action. Set a new standard for what merchant-facing insights look and feel like — predictive, intelligent, and seamlessly embedded.
  • Measure What Matters: Define clear success metrics for every product initiative and track impact post-launch. Evangelise data culture internally by showcasing wins, adoption metrics, and long-term value.

About You

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with 3+ years focused on data, analytics, or AI/ML.
  • Experience leading product teams and managing PMs; comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on delivery.
  • Strong technical fluency — you understand the modern data stack (SQL, dbt, BigQuery, Airflow, etc.), and can hold your own with engineers.
  • Proven track record of shipping customer-facing analytics and internal BI products that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Naturally collaborative — you know how to align execs, engineers, and analysts around a single source of truth.
  • Bonus: experience in e-commerce, logistics, or working with merchant-facing platforms.

If this gets you excited, we want to hear from you: Shape the future of how modern merchants interact with their data — and build products that become the new industry benchmark. Own a critical pillar of the platform and contribute directly to our AI-first strategy. Work with a deeply talented team across product, engineering, and data who love solving hard problems with real impact.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary
  • Stock options in a high-growth startup
  • Private Health insurance
  • Pension
