40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, including weekends on a rota basis. Must be able to work primarily in a freezer - thermal clothing will be provided! £12.84 per hour. Additional £1.12 per hour whilst working in the freezer.
As a Hygiene Assistant in Bedford (MK41 7BJ), you will play a role in the efficient cleaning of designated areas within the department. We seek motivated, friendly, and hardworking individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out all cleaning operations as per schedules.
- Managing cleaning materials, equipment, and chemicals.
- Adhering to food handling and hygiene standards to prevent contamination.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of equipment and facilities.
- Repackaging stock using shrink wrap or small machinery.
- Following safety, hygiene, and security policies.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by management.
