Role Overview

We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Marketing Manager to lead and execute Chronicle’s marketing strategy. This role covers content, SEO, paid campaigns, social media, video, case studies, and working with designers. You'll also be responsible for managing the client journey from awareness to conversion with a focus on long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Marketing & SEO
    • Develop and execute an SEO strategy to increase organic search rankings.
    • Manage the website content structure, meta tags, and schema markup.
    • Build a blog/content calendar aligned with customer pain points and industry trends.
  • Content & Case Studies
    • Create and manage compelling content: blog posts, guides, email campaigns, whitepapers.
    • Plan and deliver case studies with existing clients in collaboration with the support/delivery team.
    • Own the tone of voice and ensure consistency across all channels.
  • Social Media & Advertising
    • Run targeted social media campaigns (LinkedIn, YouTube, potentially Facebook).
    • Create and manage paid LinkedIn Ads and remarketing campaigns.
    • Plan and publish posts with a mix of product, customer, and industry content.
  • Video & Multimedia
    • Oversee the production of customer testimonials, explainer videos, and demo walk-throughs.
    • Work with external freelancers or agencies for design and editing.
    • Publish and manage YouTube content to support SEO and client education.
  • Client Journey & Conversion
    • Map and optimise the customer journey (website, email sequences, sign-up/demo flows).
    • Support sales enablement with brochures, one-pagers, and presentation materials.
    • Recommend and use marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp).
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Track performance across channels with GA4, LinkedIn Analytics, and SEO tools.
    • Report on MQLs, traffic, keyword rankings, and campaign ROI.
    • Suggest improvements based on data.

Skills & Experience

Must-Have:

  • 3+ years in B2B marketing, ideally in SaaS or tech.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Experience writing B2B content and managing social channels.
  • Ability to manage freelancers and coordinate video/design work.
  • Hands-on with analytics, paid ads, and CMS tools (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with time & attendance or workforce management software.
  • Basic video editing or design skills.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM integration.
