Circular Resourcing are recruiting for an Engineering Manager (Mechanically Biased) to join a well-established consulting and engineering business providing energy efficiency and decarbonisation services and solutions across the commercial real estate sector.
They offer a range of decarbonisation and energy efficiency services within the building services and commercial real estate sectors and are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a technical engineering team and work closely with the Commercial Director to create solutions to increase market share for the business.
Location: Great central London location, hybrid working options.
Salary: Open to realistic expectations to ensure we secure the right person for the role.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage a team of M&E Design Engineers, supervising their project related activities.
- Liaise with client stakeholders to develop bespoke solutions.
- Development of client proposals in partnership with the Commercial Manager and Engineering Director.
- Develop project, resource and budget plans with the PMO team.
- Prioritise projects and resources to ensure the achievement of project deadlines.
- Undertake the detailed surveying of buildings to identify energy efficiency opportunities.
- Prepare energy audit/review reports and recommendations.
- Perform building analysis using simulation software.
- Develop conceptual and detailed Mechanical Services designs.
- Create decarbonisation plans for existing buildings.
- Prepare GHG emissions reports.
- Perform feasibility studies for renewable power and heat generation.
- Create financial models for building services upgrade projects (overseeing building services upgrade and refurbishment projects with PMO team).
- Deliver ESOS assessments (training provided).
- Conduct Non-Domestic EPCs up to Level 5 (training provided).
