This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a new and exciting role. Ideally, you will have local government experience, but we also welcome applications from those who come from the private sector.

We are looking for a full-time Contract Lawyer to join our Commercial, Property & Planning legal team and play a key leading role in the successful delivery of quality legal services to the Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for a varied and intellectually challenging caseload in relation to contract and procurement matters.

You will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive (CILEX), with at least 5 years PQE or a minimum of 4 years PQE and hold the Law Society Diploma in Local Government Law (or similar relevant qualification). The grade is based on level of experience.
