We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, secure, and manage complex enterprise and cloud network environments to join our CIS Practice in London. You’ll work hands-on with Cisco, Palo Alto, ForeScout, Infoblox, Check Point, and F5 technologies, focusing on network performance, security compliance, patching, and continuous improvement.

The Role:

  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Configure and maintain routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, etc.).
  • Manage F5 load balancers (LTM, GTM, iRules) for high availability.
  • Administer DNS, DHCP, and IP management using Infoblox.
  • Manage and optimize firewall environments (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Check Point, ForeScout).
  • Implement VPNs, zero-trust architecture, and micro-segmentation.
  • Perform patching, firmware updates, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Ensure compliance with standards like ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, cloud networks, and security devices.
  • Partner with vendors and internal teams to improve network performance and security.
  • Automate network tasks with Python, Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation: diagrams, policies, firewall rules.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share best practices across the IT team.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of 10 years of deep, hands-on network engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in routing & switching, firewalls, and cloud networking.
  • Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, ForeScout, F5, Infoblox.
  • Cloud networking experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Skills in patch management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of automation and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Solid troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice To Have Certifications:

  • CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, CCSA/CCSE, F5-CA
  • AWS or Azure Networking Specialty
  • CISSP (or strong security knowledge)
