Location: Pirin Court

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer Mate will undertake planned maintenance activities on a wide range of Fire Systems assets, mainly in the Trackside environment. The role involves working on a permanent night shift pattern from Sunday to Thursday, in all weather conditions. You will work both as part of a team and independently, ensuring safety at all times. The role requires frequent travel between stations, so a full driver’s license is essential.

Key Deliverables
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks on fire systems nightly within the rail environment.
  • Assist in delivering daily tasks in line with business expectations.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and independently depending on the task.
  • Maintain health and safety awareness and practices.
  • Report progress regularly to the site person in charge.
  • Utilize the ServiceNow platform to complete visit reports.
Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate site reports on completed activities to the site SPC or line manager.
  • Complete maintenance tasks according to the defined schedule.
  • Ensure maintenance is performed to the required standards and report any issues.
  • Complete administrative tasks promptly.
  • Comply with relevant QEHS requirements.
  • Adhere to the Drug & Alcohol policy.
Qualifications / Skill Requirements
  • Knowledge of system maintenance procedures related to Fire Systems within Rail.
  • Previous experience with Fire Systems.
  • Experience working within the LUL or Rail environment.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing due to trackside work.
