We have an opportunity for a Regulatory & Control Analyst to join our great team on a hybrid basis.
Your Role
As a Regulatory and Control Analyst, you will play a key role in maintaining a robust control environment and ensuring regulatory compliance across UK Specialty Lines. You’ll be responsible for operating a calendar of controls across multiple products, ensuring all controls are completed on time, documented to a high standard, and reported effectively to senior stakeholders. This includes generating quality MI, identifying actions from control outputs, and working with teams to implement timely and sustainable improvements. You'll also ensure all controls are reviewed annually or updated in response to regulatory or business changes.
In this role you will be supporting the design and implementation of new or amended controls in response to regulatory change. You’ll partner with the Regulatory and Controls Lead and various business stakeholders to ensure process changes are assessed, risks are mitigated, and control documentation is consistently updated to reflect best practices. Driving efficiency through consistency and leveraging technology will be a focus, alongside maintaining a high standard of operational control.
You’ll also be responsible for delivering engaging training and coaching sessions on regulatory and control topics, including induction and annual refresh programmes. As a role model of RSA’s values, you’ll demonstrate positive conduct and contribute to continuous improvement that enhances both regulatory compliance and customer outcomes.

You will bring solid commercial awareness and take full ownership of service delivery and driving results. You will inspire, develop, and support others bringing out the best in your team while maintaining a clear focus on performance and accountability. With excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills, you are confident working across functions and engaging with senior leaders to influence decisions and drive meaningful action.
You will have a good understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and know how to embed change effectively within teams and across the business. You are experienced in leading multi-disciplinary teams, raising performance standards, and improving operational effectiveness through practical, people-focused leadership.
