Who We're Looking For:
- Experienced Production Managers who are ready to move into a senior leadership role, grow a team, and drive strategic improvements.
- Established Senior Operations / Production Managers who already have extensive experience leading teams and AV operations and are looking for their next rewarding challenge—with a salary up to £55,000 to reflect that.
In both cases, you’ll need to have a passion for live events, technical AV know-how, and the drive to lead and inspire a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop a talented AV and event production team
- Deliver outstanding technical solutions across live, hybrid, and virtual events
- Build strong, long-lasting client relationships through reliable, high-quality service
- Collaborate with the venue’s sales team to create seamless end-to-end event experiences
- Oversee all rigging and AV production elements within the venue’s conference suite
- Ensure readiness and maintenance of all technical equipment
- Produce quotations, technical specifications, and CAD drawings
- Maintain high standards of safety and compliance across all operations
- Drive continuous improvement in both service delivery and team performance
Skills and Experience:
- Background in event production and AV technical delivery (live, virtual, or hybrid)
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- Strong client management and commercial awareness
- Ability to work hands-on and think strategically
- Experience with CAD, costings, and technical specifications
- Clear understanding of Health & Safety best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A full driving license and ability to commute to Birmingham
