Key Responsibilities:
- Design and generate connector and cable assembly drawings and parts lists to BS8888
- Create detailed product drawings for subcontracted manufacture
- Update and re-issue drawings as design changes occur
- Support the Technical Manager with product concepts, custom solutions, and special projects
- Assist with technical specifications, datasheets, and proposal drawings
- Respond to technical queries internally and externally (post-training)
- Provide 3D CAD models and support customer requests
- Liaise with production to determine tooling needs and design jigs and tools as required
- Contribute to creating work instructions and testing protocols
- Offer engineering support across departments, including QA and the shop floor
