The predicted salary is between 21600 - 36000 £ per year.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, polite, confident, resilient and organised individual to join the Paediatric Outpatient Service as a Healthcare Assistant.

You will be expected to have good interpersonal and communication skills to deal with the numerous patients that visit outpatients on a daily basis.

Be able to work without constant direct supervision using initiative within the level of competence for the post.

Act as a role model at all times, reflecting the Trust values and behaviours and delivering high standards of care. Be self-aware and open to receive and learn from feedback.

The successful candidate will undertake a range of clinical duties to promote patient safety. Other duties include completing mandatory training., * To provide a high standard of individualised compassionate care to patients, whilst maintaining at all times, their privacy and dignity.

  • To assess patients using observations and relevant safety tools.

  • To identify abnormal findings and to ensure appropriate escalation process takes place

  • To use the computer systems to input patient care.

  • To be skilled in Phlebotomy.

  • To communicate to the patient and parents/carers about their OPD journey

  • To work along side the nurses, AHP and doctors within scope of practice.

  • General housekeeping on the unit.

  • Admin work accordingly and when required.
