Our client are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to carry out mobile maintenance works in the North East. Their client base includes but is not limited to commercial office blocks & industrial units, retail & student accommodation.
We are looking for a candidate who has knowledge of electrical systems and over 5 years' experience in a similar Electrical/ HVAC/ Maintenance Engineer type role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform routine and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Diagnose faults, repair, replace, and upgrade lighting, wiring, and electrical components, ensuring compliance with BS 7671.
- Conduct electrical testing, rewires, and emergency lighting maintenance.
- Handle basic mechanical PPMs.
- Maintain fire alarms, security systems, and automated controls.
- Ensure all work meets health and safety standards, keeping accurate maintenance records.
- Approved Electrical Apprenticeship - Minimum requirement.
- 18th Edition Accreditation - Essential.
- 2391 Testing & Inspection - Beneficial.
- Up to £37,000 - £40,000.
