Anglian Water is developing two major new reservoirs—Lincs Reservoir and Fens Reservoir—as part of a multi-billion-pound investment to secure resilient water supplies for generations to come. These are among the most ambitious and complex infrastructure projects ever undertaken in the UK water sector.
As a Project Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in helping us deliver this vision. Working alongside project managers, engineers, and environmental specialists, you’ll help keep the programme running smoothly—tracking progress, managing schedules, coordinating communications, and supporting daily operations across a wide range of stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:
- Programme Coordination
- Maintain project schedules and coordinate deliverables.
- Organise onsite works, ensuring health & safety and land access compliance.
- Support preparation for RAPID and DCO submissions.
- Schedule and support key progress meetings and internal deadlines.
- Cost, Progress & Quality Management
- Administer financial processes including task orders and purchase orders.
- Record supply chain meetings and analyse financial data.
- Support the preparation of monthly reports in collaboration with PMO and commercial teams.
- Stakeholder Management
- Assist with delivering the Engagement Strategy for internal and external stakeholders.
- Produce updates and coordinate with communications teams to ensure consistent messaging.
- Risk Management
- Support risk meetings and maintain the risk and opportunity register.
- Help develop mitigation plans and escalate key issues when necessary.
- Administrative Support
- Provide general admin support such as minute-taking, presentation creation, and meeting coordination.
What does it take to be a Project Coordinator?
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and administration, ideally within the water sector.
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
