We are hiring for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a service and maintenance team across the M62 corridor. You'll cover a clean portfolio of commercial contracts — offices, schools, banks, and public sector buildings — delivering a high standard of service across systems like VRVs, VRFs, splits, chillers, AHUs, and mechanical plant. This is a hands-on role with strong technical backing, great kit, and clear career progression.
What You'll Be Doing
- Servicing and repairing VRV/VRFs, splits, AHUs, chillers
- Completing remedial works and quoting where needed
- Responding to emergency callouts (including occasional out-of-hours rota)
- Supporting junior engineers/apprentices on-site
- Logging FGAS reports and asset condition records accurately
- Liaising professionally with clients and identifying upsell/replacement opportunities
What You'll Need
- F-Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079)
- Strong hands-on experience with VRV/VRF and split systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Confident in client communication and reporting
- Ideally: C&G/NVQ Level 2+ in A/C & Refrigeration
- Bonus: experience with AHUs, chillers, and mechanical plant
