We are hiring a Corporate Broker to join the CMC CapX team. CMC CapX is at the core of CMC Markets’ pivot toward private markets, fintech, and emerging asset infrastructure. It combines deep capital‑raising experience with cutting-edge technology—particularly tokenisation—to expand access, enhance liquidity, and redefine how private companies and investors connect globally.
Your role will involve:
- Capital Markets Advisory: Assist clients with equity and debt financing, including initial public offerings (IPOs), rights issues, and secondary share offerings. Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and disposals from a market perspective.
- Creating New Relationships: Approaching new corporate clients and generating new relationships. Winning new business and forging long-term relationships.
- Investor Relations Support: Facilitate communication between corporate clients and institutional investors. Organize investor roadshows, presentations, and meetings to enhance shareholder engagement.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure corporate clients comply with listing rules, regulatory requirements, and market disclosure obligations.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, institutional investors, and regulators. Act as a trusted advisor and the main point of contact for clients on market-related matters.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Capital Raising & Fundraising
- Proven track record of raising capital for private companies, funds, or alternative assets
- Strong investor relations skills with HNWIs, family offices, institutional investors, or venture capital firms
- Experience preparing and delivering investment presentations, pitch decks, and term sheets
