The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.
You will join an established firm involved in the design and installation of commercial kitchens. Your role will be to produce CAD designs and estimates for commercial kitchens. You will join a busy CAD team using CAD 2D and, if appropriate, 3D Revit software.
Responsibilities include:
- Producing and amending CAD design, construction, and as-fitted drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Creating take-offs from drawings and presenting them within an Excel spreadsheet.
- Printing drawing sets for the project team and participating in reviews.
- Exporting DWF and other formats for internal and external collaboration.
- Compiling data sheets for technical submittals.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of company systems.
- Providing reports as needed to your line manager.
Candidate Requirements:
Ideal candidates will have a background in 2D/3D design within commercial kitchens, light construction, or shopfitting. The role is suitable for individuals currently working as a Commercial Kitchen Designer or CAD Designer, living within a commutable distance of Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, Durham, Morpeth, Hexham, or willing to relocate.
