Wellington College is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper (Boarding House Assistant) to join our team and play a vital role in the day-to-day care and ensure the wellbeing of our boarders are to the highest standard.

The Role: We are offering a working week of 26 hours for 52 weeks per year on a rota basis, with a choice of either; 7:30 – 11:30 with 1 long day a week and every other Saturday during term time or 14:00 – 18:00 with 1 long day a week and every other Saturday during term time.
Main Responsibilities:
- Complete daily cleaning tasks as assigned, following the house cleaning schedule
- Coordinate a full call-over when waking boarders in the morning
- Monitor pupils' medical needs, including administering and observing prescribed and non-prescribed medication
- Arrange travel for pupils to A&E or personal appointments
- Monitor pupil whereabouts between 07:30 and 11:30
- Manage access for visitors and contractors to the house
Person Specification: The successful candidate will have:
- A well-developed understanding of the English language, both spoken and written
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, reliable, and proactive approach
- Awareness of safeguarding requirements (desirable)
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
