Morson Talent is working with a major player in the Energy Sector who have an immediate requirement for two (2) Construction Delivery Managers – Mechanical to join their site-based team in North Somerset. This is a unique opportunity to be involved with one of Europe's largest infrastructure construction Projects, as it transitions from civils scope to the start of commissioning. If you have demonstrable experience in the installation of pressurised rotating equipment this could be for you. Roles are offered on a (renewable) contract basis, inside IR35.
Principal Accountabilities- Support the contract partners in their delivery of the works packages to enable efficient delivery of their sections of works.
- Recommend temporary measures to mitigate against safety and/or quality concerns.
- Follow up by taking appropriate and proportionate action (e.g. issue communications, call meetings) to avoid the cessation of works. This includes but is not limited to review of documents, assurance audits, etc.
- Monitor works on site record findings in a construction daily site log, ensuring information is reported up through the organisation to the Senior Construction Delivery Manager.
- Escalate any issues/concerns via detailed reports.
