We are currently recruiting for an experienced Ganger/Site Foreman to support a major highways infrastructure project near Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a long-term, high-profile civil engineering scheme within a collaborative and safety-focused team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and leading a small team on site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification.
- Coordinating daily tasks in line with the programme of works.
- Liaising with site management and subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow.
- Ensuring adherence to all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
- Maintaining accurate site records and completing daily briefings and inspections.
Essential Requirements:
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
- CSCS card (active and valid).
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Proven experience working in highways or civil engineering environments.
- Strong understanding of site safety and ability to lead by example.
- Ability to read drawings and coordinate on-site activities accordingly.
