At Wendover Day Nursery, we are recruiting for a Nursery Assistant to join our team, working as lunch cover nursery assistant, Monday to Friday 11am to 2pm all year round. Salary is up to £15.04 depending on qualifications and experience, together with great benefits, including onsite parking.
Wendover Nursery is part of the CC Nurseries Group, and is based in Wendover within walking distance of mainline train station at Stoke Mandeville and an easy commute from Aylesbury. Our purpose built 101 place nursery houses a bespoke sensory room, as well as drama and art studio, and the nursery offers ample secure outdoor space with rolling countryside views. At Wendover, they are big on natural resources, and their child led philosophy 'free flow' design allows children to benefit from the wonderful outdoor areas. Requirements
- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
- Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.
- Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor always.
- Work within a team to support all children and team members within your room.
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the curriculum are being met.
- Ideally with an Early Years Qualification or with experience of working with the Under 5s.
