ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for someone to lead the experimentation (conversion optimisation and personalisation) strategy across 3-5 exciting enterprise and/or advanced client accounts. You will work closely with the team to deliver a strategy for clients spanning insight, test ideation, test completion and analysis. Supported by a Project Manager, Associate Consultant and delivery team to help deliver results for your clients. This is a big opportunity for a proven conversion leader to help drive forward a pioneering agency in a fast-growing space.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

To develop and lead exceptional experimentation strategies for our biggest and most advanced clients, whilst driving forward our approach and product offering.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership: live and uphold our values whilst encouraging our people to develop.
  • Client leadership: senior point of contact for 3-5 advanced or enterprise-level clients, leading on strategy and helping our clients mature their testing programmes.
  • Testing strategy: set the agenda for our clients and manage a testing roadmap to help deliver long term results and maturation of your clients’ testing capabilities; Identifying problems with the conversion rate of client websites through quant and qual research. Create test concepts to address issues identified in quant and qual research and use your conversion expertise to create effective solutions. Analyse and evaluate experiments - reporting on results and devising iterations on concepts to drive the testing strategy. Prioritise insights and testing strategy which helps our clients achieve their goals and delivers ROI.
  • Advanced experimentation: working with Director of Product & Strategy to develop our approach to experimentation, across AB testing, personalisation and through exploring new opportunities to put testing at the heart of businesses.
  • Results: accountability for success for your clients - to be measured via average win rate, and NPS.
  • Support and mentorship: work closely with our trainee and associate consultants as they shadow and support you on your client accounts. Act as the support consultant where needed for Associate Consultants taking on their first client accounts.
  • Collaboration: foster a culture of collaboration by sharing strategy internally with delivery team, before with clients and provide feedback to your peers.
  • Sales & Marketing: work with Sales and Marketing to support new business meetings and join pitch teams when required.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Thought leadership (internal): work with the Head of Experimentation to inspire and motivate the consultancy team to deliver exceptional work for our clients. Share knowledge, assist with training both directly and through shadowing.
  • Thought leadership (external): work with the Head of Experimentation and the New Business and Marketing director to establish Conversion.com as the leader in the market for experimentation.
  • Delivery of our in-house consultant training programme: responsible for delivering key sections as required of our in-house training programme for Trainee Consultants. Consisting of delivering training sessions on key topics, reviewing and giving feedback on tasks and projects and assessing performance of Trainees against key metrics.
  • Sales & Marketing: work with Sales and Marketing team to develop content for marketing efforts and deliver quant and qual research for new business opportunities.
  • Product: look for opportunities to evolve a best-in-market proposition - always two steps ahead of our competition and three steps ahead of our clients.
