Are you ready to join a rapidly expanding DTC brand? The business is looking for an Interim Commercial Data Analyst to spearhead an exciting project focused on driving improvements, overseeing implementation, and developing a new team.

This project will involve:

  • Handover from the CEO, who has historically built and managed much of their reporting
  • Obtaining insights into the current data structure, tools, and pain points – so you can hit the ground running
  • Evolving the inherited foundation tools and reports based on what you know good looks like
  • Creating dashboards for growth, retention, ops, and finance
  • Defining and rolling out standardised metrics that unify the business and guide decisions
  • Using tools like Funnel.io – or suggesting better ones – to streamline and centralise data
  • Setting the benchmark for best-in-class ecommerce reporting and BI
  • Identifying gaps in their current stack and implementing improvements – tools, models, and reporting flows
  • Proposing new views, dashboards, or metrics leadership didn’t know they needed
  • Owning the BI function and building out and executing a roadmap for BI infrastructure that supports scale
  • Leading the implementation of new data tools, reporting templates, and operational data processes
  • Supporting leadership in real-time contribution modelling, LTV forecasting, pricing insights, and cohort analysis

Experience:

  • 5+ years in ecommerce analytics
  • Your analytics experience MUST be for a D2C ecommerce brand, this is non-negotiable and should be visible on your CV
  • Retail experience is desirable
  • Strong track record of turning data into business results, working in a website that has been through scale
  • Experience working with marketing, product, and finance teams to drive decisions
