The Clinical Placement Co-ordinator for Pharmacy will support the programme team in the planning and delivery of experiential learning activities, including (but not limited to) clinical placements and simulation. This will include the planning and allocation of clinical placements, co-creation of student workbooks and tutor guides, quality assurance, alongside data collection, management, and reporting. They will have an understanding of the use of simulation in clinical teaching, and will support the team with the planning and delivery of clinical teaching through the use of high-fidelity simulation equipment and generative AI.

The ideal candidate will be qualified as a pharmacist / pharmacy technician (registered with the GPhC) or have equivalent experience in pharmacy education. They will hold a recognised teaching qualification at the appropriate level e.g. Associate Fellowship/Fellowship of Advance HE (formerly known as the Higher Education Academy), or status as a National Vocational Qualification Assessor, or status as an Apprenticeship Assessor. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in teaching and assessing (preferably at undergraduate and / or postgraduate level, but can also be in practice).
