We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading, values-driven provider of residential childcare services, seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to take over a highly successful 5-bed EBD home in Pulborough. This is a rare and exciting opportunity due to the planned retirement of the current Registered Manager. The home is currently rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted and provides care for 5 young females, with a particular focus on supporting those affected by CSE.

You’ll benefit from a structured handover alongside the outgoing manager, ensuring you are set up for success and fully supported in the transition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a consistently high standard of care.
  • Provide strong, trauma-informed leadership to staff and young people alike.
  • Manage referrals, local authority engagement, and multi-agency working.
  • Maintain the home’s Outstanding Ofsted rating, with full regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor, supervise and professionally develop your team.
  • Oversee budgeting, safeguarding, care planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements:
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience managing children’s residential homes.
  • Proven success leading Ofsted inspections.
  • Deep understanding of trauma-informed practice and CSE support.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaborative working skills.
