Pre Press Operative

We are Coveris, a leading European print & packaging company and we are looking for a new pre press operative to join the team at our Boston site. Over £24 million has been invested over the last 3 years into next generation Paper manufacturing capabilities.

Job Role: Pre Press/Make Ready Operative

Location: Lealand Way, Boston

Shift Pattern: Triple Shift - Week 1: Monday-Thursday 06:00-14:00, Friday 06:00-13:00; Week 2: Sunday 23:00-06:00, Monday-Thursday 22:00-06:00; Week 3: Monday-Thursday 14:00-22:00, Friday 13:00-20:00

Pay Rates: £13.98ph

Key Responsibilities:

• Main focus of the role is to ensure all tooling, plates and cutters are available at press at the beginning of a job.
• Have a clear understanding of shift patterns and importance of good timekeeping.
• Be aware of Coveris responsibilities within the label industry, and the importance of giving clear information.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and systems within area of responsibility. Activities include health & safety, dignity at work, hygiene, SOPs etc.
